i've been making art my whole life, but started to develop the style i have today back in 2013

i enjoy creating odd landscapes that have little to no connection to reality. these designed
landscapes disorient the sense of clear location. i incorporate symbols and patterns, meant to
be decoded like messages. i want the viewer to map their own story onto the pieces. my
favorite ideas come when i am not fully focused on what i am doing. this process allows me to
be impulsive and let the pieces evolve as i go. the work can then flow in a stream of
consciousness. the pieces talk to one other in a way i don’t completely understand.
